To perform this pipeline improvement project safely, Benson Avenue will be closed to traffic between McCully Street and Chino Avenue. Westbound traffic on Chino Avenue will not be able to make a left turn onto Benson Avenue, however traffic will be able to make a right turn onto Benson Avenue. WHAT: Starting October 16 through November 10, 2017, SoCalGas crews will be performing a pipeline improvement project on Gerald Ford Drive in Rancho Mirage between Monterey Avenue and Gateway Drive in Palm Desert. To perform this pipeline improvement project safely, eastbound traffic on Gerald Ford Drive will be reduced to one lane from October 16 to November 10 from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.  This construction will be performed at night.
