Sempra Energy Recognized for Diversity Practices
The Human Rights Campaign (HRC), the nation’s largest civil rights organization, awarded Sempra Energy a perfect score on the HRC Corporate Equality Index for the ninth consecutive year. The national index reviews corporate practices related to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender equality.

The Human Rights Campaign’s report is released annually and ranks major U.S. businesses according to LGBT-related policies and practices, including non-discrimination workplace protections, benefits, programs and public engagement with the LGBT community.
