Sempra Energy ranked first on DiversityInc’s “Top Utilities” list for 2019, demonstrating the company’s dedication to fostering diversity and inclusion, and championing people. This is the ninth consecutive year that Sempra Energy has been recognized on the list.

DiversityInc’s annual survey tracks diversity and inclusion practices at the nation’s top companies. The company ranks are based on four key areas of measurement: talent, development, leadership commitment and supplier diversity. Companies with more than 1,000 U.S.-based employees are eligible to enter the annual survey. DiversityInc’s mission is to bring education and clarity to the business benefits of diversity.
