The Sempra Energy family of companies joined Padres Pedal the Cause San Diego on Nov. 11-12 to honor and support employees, and their friends and family members, who have been affected by cancer. More than 130 employees, and their friends and families, participated as riders and volunteers in the two-day event, based at Petco Park in downtown San Diego.
Team Sempra | SDG&E is one of the top team fundraisers of the annual event this year, with more than $90,000 raised so far. All proceeds go to cancer research at local hospitals and research centers, including: UC San Diego Health Moores Cancer Center, Salk Institute for Biological Studies, Sanford Burnham Prebys Medical Discovery Institute and Rady Children’s Hospital – San Diego.
