ECA LNG Media Kit
Sempra LNG and IEnova, Sempra’s subsidiary in Mexico, are developing the Energía Costa Azul LNG (ECA LNG) liquefaction facility at the site of the regasification terminal in Baja California, Mexico.
ECA LNG Phase 1 is a single-train liquefaction facility that is expected to have the capability to export approximately 3 Mtpa of LNG and will utilize existing LNG storage capacity, marine berth and associated facilities.
Given its brownfield nature and its strategic west coast location, the ECA LNG project is geographically positioned to provide Asia and other Pacific Basin markets with access to a reliable source of North American natural gas directly from the Pacific coast.
