Bruce MacNeil is vice president and treasurer for Sempra.
In his current position, MacNeil oversees Sempra’s treasury operations, capital markets activities, pension and trust investments as well as rating agency relations.
MacNeil joined Sempra in 2017 as assistant treasurer.
Prior to Sempra, MacNeil most recently served as vice president, capital markets funding at National Rural Utilities Cooperative Finance Corporation (CFC) in Dulles, Virginia from 2013 to 2017. From 2005 to 2013, he served in a variety of other roles at CFC, including director of long-term funding and risk management, director of short-term funding and associate vice president in the portfolio management group.
Earlier in his career, MacNeil worked for Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce and TD Bank in Canada.
MacNeil holds the certified treasury professional designation and is licensed as a certified public accountant in Virginia.
MacNeil holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from McGill University, and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Maryland.
