For the second consecutive year, Fortune^® magazine has recognized Sempra Energy’s chairman and chief executive officer, Debra L. Reed, on its annual “50 Most Powerful Women in Business” list.

In compiling the list, Fortune^® editors evaluate the size and prosperity of a woman’s company; career progression and accomplishments; and societal and cultural contributions.

In August, Reed was recognized by Forbes magazine as one of the nation’s most influential female CEOs.
