Our business units’ top priority is the reliable and safe delivery of energy in all of its forms — to the more than 31 million people we serve every day.

Our business units operate a significant amount of energy infrastructure.  We employ safety inspectors, conduct safety patrols and complete leakage surveys, among other activities.

Our business units also work with government officials, regulators and customers to help keep communities safe in times of disaster and emergency. Each year, our business units review and update detailed plans that articulate how they will restore natural gas and electrical service – and continue company operations in the event of a major disaster.
