Philanthropy

Sempra Energy engages in philanthropy through the Sempra Energy Foundation, a 501(c)(3) private foundation based in San Diego, and through its principal business units. Each year, our goal is to contribute one percent of pre-tax operating income to support our communities.

Across all of our companies, we collectively focus on education and leadership development, the environment, underserved and communities of color, emergency preparedness and safety and economic development.
