The Academy of International Business (AIB), a leading worldwide association of business professors and scholars, named Donald E. Felsinger, Chairman and CEO of Sempra Energy, the International Executive of the Year at the group’s annual meeting on June 27 in San Diego.

 

The award is presented to an executive who has bolstered a company’s international operations and made important contributions to the global community. San Diego State University’s College of Business Administration nominated Felsinger for the award. About 500 university professors from around the world attended the award presentation.
