The Office of Corporate Diversity Affairs reviews
and analyzes current and new legislation that
relates to diversity, EEO and Affirmative Action,
and advises the senior management team on the
potential effect on the company. Working with
the company's Law department, Corporate Diversity
Affairs assesses any potential risks for the
company as a result of the legislative changes
and develops strategies to reduce those risks.
Also, the Office of Corporate Diversity Affairs
serves as the company's liaison and first line
of contact with the United States Department
of Labor/Office of Federal Contract Compliance
Programs, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission,
California Department of Fair Employment and
Housing, and other federal, state and local
agencies about formal diversity, Affirmative
Action or Equal Employment Opportunity inquiries,
complaints, audits and other related matters.
