Operation Clean Sweep - June 2

On June 2, Sempra Energy teamed up with the San Diego Port Tenants Association (SDPTA) as the title sponsor for the 17th Annual “Operation Clean Sweep on the Big Bay.” Sempra Energy employees, friends and families – including certified divers – volunteered their time to help comb San Diego Bay’s shores and floors to dispose of litter and debris. Thanks to their efforts, and to all those who participated, the Port Tidelands areas of Shelter Island, Cesar Chavez Park, Chula Vista Marina and Chollas Creek are all a little cleaner.
