Chambers of commerce
Sempra Energy and its subsidiary companies are members of more than 50 chambers of commerce across the United States, including chambers in California, Arizona, Nevada, Texas, Louisiana and Washington, D.C., as well as along the Mexican border region. We know that by working as partners with other leaders in the regions we serve, we can contribute to building healthy, thriving communities.

Downtown San Diego Partnership
Sempra Energy’s involvement with the Downtown San Diego Partnership allows us to engage and connect to the economic growth and prosperity of businesses in our headquarters’ backyard. The partnership works closely with regional business groups and agencies to spot needs, develop strategies, shape public policy and launch programs that strengthen the business climate and quality of life in downtown San Diego.

disABLEDperson Inc.
As a direct result of Sempra Energy’s support, this small, San Diego-based nonprofit group has stretched its limited resources and grown steadily over the past few years. The group connects disabled Americans with employers through national, online job-posting and referral services. We’re proud to have helped disABLEDperson Inc. work with corporate human resources and government agencies, as well as provide financial support for software upgrades.
